A reciprocating internal combustion engine comprises an engine block, which includes cylinders, cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, a crankshaft and the mainshaft bearings for the crankshaft. That engine block is held in an outer pan by means of annular supporting elements, which are provided at both ends of the engine block and are coaxial to the crankshaft and insulate against a transmission of structure-borne noise. The engine block is sealed to the upper edge portion of the outer pan only by an oil seal. The outer pan consists of two parts, which are connected by screws. To prolong the service life of the annular supporting elements and to reduce the manufacturing costs, the outer pan has a parting plane which contains the axis of the crankshaft. The supporting elements are secured in the outer pan merely by being clamped between the two parts of the pan.

The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular, engine-building, namely, to oil-sealing devices, isolating the case noise of an internal combustion engine.
The aim of the invention is to increase the durability of an oil seal device that insulates the case noise of an internal combustion engine.

The internal combustion piston engine contains a power unit consisting of cylinders, 1Ц1 LINDROE heads, pistons, connecting rods, a crankshaft 1 with corona bearings, and is installed in the external bath 2 with help of oil-tight, annular, insulating support elements 3, made of elastic material, located coaxially to the crankshaft 1 on the front sides of the power unit in the external bath 2, made of two parts 4 and 5 connected by screws 4, sealing along the upper edge of the bath 2 and the power block ka (not shown) holds only oil-tightness, with the connector 4 connected with screws plane 7

PISTON INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, comprising a power unit consisting of cylinders, cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, a crankshaft with main bearings and installed in an external bath with oil-tight ring-shaped supporting elements located coaxially insulated from cor- the crankshaft on the end faces of the block in an external bath made of two parts connected by screws, and the seal on the upper edge of the bath and the block is made only oil-tight, characterized the fact that, in order to increase durability, the plane of the connector of the parts of the external bath connected by screws is made along the axis of the crankshaft, and the supporting elements are fixed between the parts of the external bath using the associated outer rings.
